FRITCH - William Wayne Butler, 90, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Borger with the Rev. Johnny Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in The Garden of Love in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Butler was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Allen and had been a Fritch resident for 30 years. He was an administrative supervisor for 24 years at Phillips Petroleum Co.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a second lieutenant. He was a former Fritch City Council member and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Borger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Sophronia Butler; a granddaughter, Carmen Michelle Casados; two brothers, Arvil J. Butler and Robert Glenn Butler; and a sister, Virginia Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Butler; two sons, William Wayne Butler Jr. and wife Sandy of Denton, and Robert Greg Butler and wife Debbie of Amarillo; a daughter, Bretta Suzanne Butler of Fort Worth; six grandchildren, Eric Butler and wife Abby, Brent Casados, Heather Casados, Brad Butler, Linsey Murphy and husband James and Whitney Butler; and three great-grandchildren, Blake and Ava Butler and Braden Murphy.

Irma Griffin Butler, 92, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Amarillo.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, at the First United Methodist Church of Borger. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Irma was born in Childress, Texas to Ed and Lillian Mae Griffin. She married William Butler in August 1943 in Childress. Irma taught school in the Borger and Dumas schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Borger.

She was preceded in death by her husband William in November 2008.

Irma is survived by her sons William Butler and wife Sandy of Denton, Texas and Greg Butler and wife Debbie of Amarillo; daughter Bretta Butler of Ft. Worth, Texas; Grandchildren Eric and Abby Butler, Brent and Heather Casados, Brad Butler, Lindsey and James Murphy, Whitney Butler Holt and husband Wayne; Great-Grandchildren Blake and Ava Butler, Brayden and Berkley Murphy.

Family request that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
