*Obituary
Viola M. Butler, 79, of Borger died Sunday, May 31, 1998 in North Plains Care Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, and the Rev. Jack Hutson, pastor of First Baptist Church at Vanderbilt, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
A former youth center director and director of parks and recreation in Borger, Mrs. Butler was a native of Donley County and a Borger resident for 63 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and worked in the nursery for several years.
Bill and Viola M. (Hutson) in January 8, 1938 in Borger.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Butler of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Brenda Butler of Borger; a daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Wendyl Sanders of Borger; two brothers, W.B. Hutson of Fritch and Robert Hutson of Van Vleck; a sister, Frances Anderson of Borger; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jim and Christi Abel, Jim and Connie Topper and Kelton Butler, all of Borger; and six great-grandsons.
The family will be at 1402 Marigold.
