Chad Casida, 27, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 16, 2006.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the family with Monsignor Norbert Kuehler officiating. Inurnment will follow by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St.

Chad was born March 7, 1979, in Borger to Elizabeth "Liz" and David Casida Sr. Chad was a 1998 graduate of Borger High School where he loved to play football for the Borger Bulldogs. After high school, Chad worked for RPM, his uncle's shop in Borger. In 2005 Chad was living in California and working at So-Cal Speed Shop. Most recently Chad was employed by Amarillo Fabrication Shop.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Borger.

Chad had a love for welding and had a most profound compassion and ability to build motorcycles. He lived life to the fullest and made lasting friendships wherever he went. Chad will be truly missed by all his family and friends. He was strongly connected to all his family and was dearly loved by one and all.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

Survivors include a brother, David Jr. and wife Brandy of Borger; a sister, Gayla and husband Ernest Warren of Borger; his grandmother; Erminia Wiggs of Amarillo and Bill and Wanda Casida, of Borger; his most adoring aunts, Rosemary Walden of Borger, Joan Sibley and Cathy Turner of Amarillo, Diana Mathews of Canyon, Mary Moseley of Bandera and Teresa Martin of South Carolina; four uncles, Jack Wiggs of Shallowater, Gerald Scott of Dumas, Bobby Walden of California and Tom Casida of Borger; and several close cousins.
