*Obituary
Funeral services for Leland Chapman, 20, a student at North Texas State University, Denton, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church, Phillips, with the pastor, the Rev. John Street, officiating.

Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Simpson Funeral Home.

Casketbearers are Clyce Purcell, Larry Talley, Clark Youngblood, Royce Nelson, Bobby Bybee, and Burton Williams.

Chapman died Saturday in Dallas Parkland Hospital.

He was employed by Texas Instruments in Dallas.

Surviving are his wife, Lynn; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Chapman of Phillips; sister, Joyce Shelton of Borger; and grandmother, Mrs. Lou Chapman of Borger.

Memorials may be sent to the Department of Internal Medicine, Southwestern Medical School, in care of Dr. Burton Combes, 5323 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75235.
