Vera Cook, 76, Borger, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 1994 in her home.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. L.K. "Buck" Lawley, pastor First Assembly of God Church, officiating.
Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Athens, she had been a Borger resident for eight years. She was a pattern designer for Victor Costa of Dallas and a housewife. She was a Baptist.
She married Ervin Cook March 28, 1936 in Dallas. He died in May 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Jackie O. Cook of Norristown, Pa.; Norman E. Cook of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; and James Larry Cook of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Linda E. McLemore of Borger; a brother, M.A. Shotwell of Dallas; two sisters, Katherine Lacy of Tyler; and Alice Posell of Kaufman; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
