David Daniel "Danny" Dennis
December 24, 1940 - March 16, 2018

David D. " Danny" Dennis, 77 of Borger went to be with his Lord Friday March 16th in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will be under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger in Westlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm March 19th at the funeral home.

Danny was born December 24, 1940 at Witchita Falls, TX to Earl and Opal (Patton) Dennis. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. He was a carrier for the US Postal Service. He Married Jerri Ann Hilton May 23, 1958 in Pampa, TX. He loved auto racing, camping and especially his grandkids and great grandkids.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, wife daughters Dana, JoEtta Check and Janet Green and a sister Marie Brown.

Surviving is a son James Dennis and wife Abby of Stinnett. Brothers Tommy and wife Charlotte Dennis of Fritch; Bobby and wife Wilma Dennis of Fritch. Sister Sarah and husband Cecil Hopkins of Borger. Grandchildren Matt and wife Amy Green; Brent Green; Ashley White; Justin Dennis and Tyler Cheek. Great grandchildren Kynlie Green, Kasen Green; Conner White and Branson White.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Jerrie Ann Dennis, 71, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015.

Graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Director of Borger. The family will receive guest from 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the funeral home in Borger.

Jerrie was born October 3, 1943 in Borger to Elmer and Artie (Russell) Hilton. She married Danny Dennis on May 23, 1958 in Pampa, Texas. Jerrie was a waitress for many years in numerous restaurants in Borger. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and cross stitch.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Janet Green and Jo Etta Cheek and a sister, Dana Hilton.

Survivors include her husband, Danny of Borger; son, James Dennis and wife Abby of Stinnett; five grandchildren, Matt Green and wife Amy, Brent Green and wife Sarah; Ashley White and husband Trey, Justin Dennis, Tyler Cheek; and brother, Larry Hilton and wife Sandy of Borger.

BORGER — Jerrie Ann Dennis, 71, died Sunday, May 17, 2015.

Mrs. Dennis was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Borger to Elmer and Artie Russell Hilton. She married Danny Dennis on May 23, 1958 in Pampa.

Survivors include her husband; a son, James Dennis and wife Abby of Stinnett; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Hilton of Borger.
