WALKER, VIVIAN NELSON WALKER, age 96. Vivian Elna Christine Nelson Buck Walker, born January 15, 1909, near Hutto, Texas on the farm of her parents, Paul and Ester Nelson, who had immigrated from Sweden, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in Dallas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, lived in Houston and Austin before moving to Dallas when her youngest granddaughter and namesake Pamela Vivian was born in 1964. She retired from American Funds at age 86 and was a loyal member of Northaven Methodist Church. She was a dedicated loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who supported their activities and sports. She loved to travel and was an avid crossword enthusiast. Preceded in death by husbands, John Buck and Nolan Walker and grandson David Nelson Rowe. Survived by daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Rowe and son-in-law Joe Rowe; granddaughters, Pamela Vivian Hunt and husband Tommy Hunt and Kathy Rowe-Guin and husband David Guin; great-grandchildren, David, Joey, Cole and Christine Hunt (another namesake) of Palacios, TX, and Kelly and Bryan Guin of Glen Allen, VA. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
