*Obituary
Andrew "Papa Andy" Clifton Harris III, 64, of Canyon died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with the Rev. Norman Shuman, pastor of Word of Life Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.
Andy was born April 30, 1945, in San Diego to Andrew Clifton Jr. and Barbara Park Harris. On Feb. 27, 1964, he married Barbara Ann Harrell in Borger. Andy was a graduate of Borger High School and was a bricklayer for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Clifton Harris Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann; his mother, Barbara Park Harris of Amarillo; three daughters, Jana Smith and husband Tim and Amanda Parker and husband Justin, all of Amarillo, and Billie Harris Crow and husband Gene of Canyon; a son, Andrew Harris of Bartlesville, Okla.; a sister, Suzan Greenberg of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Braxtene, Bailye, Skylar, Spencer, Sidney, Sawyer, Amber, Leslie, Jonathan, Salem and Colten; and Andy's faithful companion, Rascal.
