*Obituary
Funeral services for Ruth Harris, 78, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
She died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1990 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A native of Harmon County Oklahoma, she had been a Borger resident for 37 years. She was a homemaker and receptionist for beauty shops.
Mrs. Harris was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Tri-City Rebekah Lodge No. 226, and Esther Sunday school Class.
Survivors include her husband, Jessie of the home; two sons, Duane Harris of Dumas; and Jerry W. Harris of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, Marilyn Harris, Jerry Harris, Jr., Mark Harris, Kimberly Harris, and Mickey Harris; and five great-grandchildren.
