BORGER - Franklin Lee Higgins, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Langen, pastor of Buenavista Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Higgins was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Bristow, Okla. He was a truck driver for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; a son, Tony Higgins of Borger; two daughters, Janice Williamson and Theresa Hudson, both of Borger; a sister, Mildred "Marie" Simmons of Borger; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ruby Higgins, 85 of Borger died Wednesday, November 18th in Borger.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday November 20th at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor First Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ruby was born to Lena Stone and James McGowan on March 9, 1930 in Winona, OK. She married Franklin Lee Higgins May 14, 1947 in Borger. She loved to bowl, traveling and her grandkids.

Ruby is survived by a son Tony and wife Kathie of Borger. Daughters Janice Williamson of Borger and Theresa Hudson of Borger. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
