David Lee Howard, 53, Borger, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 1996 in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Richard Kasko, evangelist of the Church of Christ at Borger, officiating.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Howard was born in Kemp, Okla., and had been a resident of Borger since 1949. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Tim Hertel of Borger; two daughters, Dena Ott of Fritch; and Leeah Howard of Borger; two brothers, Danny Howard of Borger; and Dennis Howard of Stinnett; four sisters, Kay Overby of Dill City, Okla.; Lela Haynes, Myrna Nickens and Reba Tucker, all of Borger; and five grandchildren.
