Funeral services for W.B. "Dab" Jameson, 66, of 21 Hiatt, Phillips, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home.
Jameson, a resident of this area for the past 43 years, died at appoximately 6 a.m. today while visiting his daughter in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Jameson was born June 10, 1905 in Silver, Tex. and came to this area from Canyon in 1928. He was married to May Miller in 1931 in Clovis, N.M. In 1939 he started work for Phillips Petroleum Co. as a stillman and retired in December 1960. He had worked for the Miller Machine shop for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Gardner Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, May of the home; three sons, William B. Jr. of Pasadena, Lonnie R. of Borger, Leonard L. of Bethany, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Royce L. Phares of Chattanooga, Tenn.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Jameson of Fritch; three brothers, T.T. of Fritch, Eddie of Seminole, Carl of San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Dib Compton and Mrs. Archie Goad, both of Fritch, Mrs. Arthur Day of Dumas; and 11 grandchildren.
