Obituary for Ralph
BORGER - Ralph Woodrow Lane, 93, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006.Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairlanes Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Chaddick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Lane was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Paden, Okla. He was a maintenance supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Co.

Survivors include his wife, Muriel; three daughters, Deanna Baker of Borger, Sally Schmidt of Mansfield and Nancy Lane of Amarillo; a brother, Roy Lane of Claremore, Okla.; a sister, Lorene McCollum of Borger; and two grandchildren.

Virginia Muriel Lane, 98 of Borger died Saturday March 29, 2014 in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 1, 2014 at Fairlanes Baptist Church with rev. Paul Burwash, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Muriel was born July 19, 1915 in Hardy, Arkansas to Richard and Minnie Mae Moore Rogers. She came to Borger in 1937 after marrying Ralph " Slim " Lane on October 24, 1935 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2006, daughter Sally Schmidt 2010 and Sisters Inez Kennedy and Clara Edwards.

She is survived by daughters Deanna Baker and husband Bill of Borger, Nancy Lane of Amarillo, TX. Two grandchildren April Brown and Austin Brown.

MANSFIELD, TX - Sally Kay Lane Schmidt, 61, died July 2, 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, Mansfield, Texas, with Rev. Zeke Rogers officiating.

Sally was born on Sept. 16, 1948, in Borger, to Ralph and Muriel Lane. She married John Schmidt in March 1978, in Fort Worth, Texas.

She graduated from Phillips in 1967 and from West Texas College in 1971. She was an active member of the St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband John, her mother of Borger, two sisters, Deanna Baker and husband Billy of Borger and Nancy Lane of Amarillo; niece April Brown of Austin, nephew Austin Brown of Fort Worth, stepchildren, Whitney, Brad, and David; five grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives.
