Obituary
BORGER - Mary Ray, 83, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Bill Ratchford, pastor of Franklin Street Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.

Mary Marie Milner Ray was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Johnson County, Tenn., to Grover and Mirtie Milner. She was a homemaker and a member of Franklin Street Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Martin Loven Sr., on Aug. 12, 1971; her second husband, Russell H. Ray, on Oct. 31, 1994; her parents; a daughter, Venita Smith, in 2003; two sisters, Maddie Caddell and Dorothy Enterline; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylin Mathews, on July 1, 2008.

Survivors include three daughters, Sue Elkins and husband Larry of Amarillo, Linda Hughes and husband Tod of Pampa, and Diane Berry and husband Bob of Borger; a son, James Martin Loven Jr. and wife Roxie of Amarillo; a sister, Leara Mae Crow of Fritch; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
