BOLIVAR, Mo. - Norman Lee McKinney, 76, died Saturday Feb. 14, 2004, at his home.

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bolivar with Pastor David Loy officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Westlawn Cemetery Borger. Arrangements were under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.

Mr. McKinney was born on June 7, 1927, in Erie, Kan. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, three sisters and one daughter.

He is survived by his his [sic] wife Dorothy of the home; one daughter, Debbie Hepler of Bartlesville, Okla.; five sons, Bruce McKinney of Charlotte, N.C., Jay McKinney and wife Teresa of Wichita, Kan., Mark McKinney, Tod McKinney and wife Jody and Jon McKinney and wife Jennifer, all of Borger; and a sister, Eileen Alexander of Kansas City, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
