James Ray "Jim" Morris, 64, of Elk City, Okla., died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1992, in Community Hospital in Elk City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. T.D. Gifford, of the First Assembly of God Church of Elk City, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A heavy equipment operator for Halliburton Industries, Mr. Morris was a native of Borger and a Elk City resident for 11 years.
He was a veteran of World War II and of the Marine Corps. Mr. Morris was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Elk City.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Ray in 1954, and Charles, in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; two sons, Chuck Sandifer, of Borger, and Rick Sandifer, of Dallas; four daughters, Angie Herzer, of Logan, Okla., Debra Franks, of Booker, Cyndi Ford, of Levelland; and Sherry McWilliams, of Borger; one brother, Charles Morris, of Breckenridge; one sister, Dorothy Scarborought, of Borger; and 13 grandchildren.
