Richard Ray Nelson, 32, Borger, died at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 1993 in his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of of [sic] Placerville, Calif., he had been a Borger resident for 2 1/2 years. He was an engineer for Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and member of the Prayer Council.
He married Michelle Dixon April 16, 1983 in Borger.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two brothers, Bob Nelson of Placerville, Calif.; and Jim Nelson of Westchester, Calif.; two sisters, Debbie Eslick and Laurie Dixon, both of Placerville, Calif.; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson of Placerville, Calif.; his grandfather, John Caper of Placerville, Calif.; eight nieces and nephews, all of California.
Pallbearers will be Mike Donelly, Dave Douglas, Alvin Ferguson, Tom Grant, Mike Green, Mike McCarthy, Chris Pergot, Joel Sheldon, Barry Pepper, Teddie West, and Russ McGraw.
Memorials may be made to the Prayer Ministry at the First Baptist Church.
The family will ]sic] staying at 1407 Lancelot.
