DICKINSON - Lome A.F. Morris, 84, resident of Dickinson for 47 years passed away November 11,1998. He was born September 5, 1914, in Chandler, Oklahoma to Robert and Ethel Morris, served his country in the U.S. Army during World War H and retired as an electrician with IBEW No. 527 after 50 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lillie Beatrice and a brother, Elmer Morris.

Surviving Mr. Morris are his two daughters, Katherine Jean Schmidt and Ruth Ellen Dingman; his sister, Martha Leah Hoiman and brother, Robert E. Morris Jr. and grandchildren, John Wesley Edge, Joseph Thomas Edge, Ricky James Hurley, Donna Jean Terracina, Brenda May Cogar, Lisa Diane Dingman and Brian Morris Dingman and seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at James Crowder Funeral Home
on Friday, November 13, 1998, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 1998, in the Funeral Home ChapeL Interment will be at Grace Memorial ParkCemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be David Dingman, Brian Dingman, Gene Schmidt, Dave Wojciechowski and members of the V.F.W. Post No. 6378.

DICKINSON — Lillie B. Morris, 76, of Dickinson died Tuesday at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. The Rev. Jon C. Murchison will officiate. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation is set for 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born Sept. 9, 1913, in Huntsville, Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. Formerly of Huntsville, she was a Dickinson resident for 39 years. She was a member of the Pine Drive Baptist Church and was a past member of the Dickinson Chapter No. 1024 Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Lorne A.F. Morris of Dickinson; two daughters, Katherine Jean Harrigan of Dickinson, and Ruth Ellen Dingman of Bakersfield, Calif., seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are John Wesley Edge, Joseph Thomas Edge, Brian Morris Dingman and members of the Dickinson V.F.W.
