TEXAS CITY — Frances Morris, 79, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2005, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with the Rev. Orville Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
Ms. Morris was born August 10, 1925, in Rusk, Texas. She retired from U.T.M.B as a Director of Unit Management. She was a charter member and very active in College View Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Morris; son Dennis; grandson Travis; brothers Theldon Farrow and Eddie Farrow; sisters Oma Ware, Loma Powell and Margaret Moore.
Survivors include her son Stan Morris and wife Dianne; grandchildren, Joel Morris and wife Ruthy, Carrie Morris, Ryan Morris and wife Amanda and Jessica Morris; great-grandchildren: Kristopher, Natalie, Jimmy and Emily; brother L. D. Farrow; numerous nieces and nephews, loved ones and family friends.

TEXAS CITY-Funeral services for Joe Murray Morris, 54, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Kmken Llnton Funeral Home In Texas City. Services will be conducted by Rev. James Featherstone.
Burial will follow services at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock under the direction of Emken-Llnton Funeral Home.
Mr. Murray died Friday at John Sealy Hospital.
He was born in Groveton. Texas on April 24, 1926.
He was employed at Union Carbide as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Shriners and the Masonic Lodge No. 1118 AF & A AM o/Texas City.
Survivors Include his wife, Mary Frances Morris of Texas City, sons, Dennis Morris of Texas City, Robert S. Morris of Alvln, brother James A. Morris of Orange, sister Christine Kennedy of Groveton, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitors may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be James H. Powell, Jerry Powell, Joe Kennedy , Buddy Powell. E.E. Kennedy and Hulon Ross.
