Beatrice Fay (Roden) Phelps
May 16, 1939 ~ December 13, 2019

Beatrice Fay Phelps, 80, passes away, Friday, December 13, 2019.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in the Minton Memorial Chapel, with Mr. Jake Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Beatrice was born May 16, 1939 in Soper, Oklahoma to Guy Travis Roden and Vera Albright Roden. She worked at One Hour Martinizing for many years. Beatrice enjoyed sewing, cooking and being with her family. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aubrey Phelps; and son-in-law, Richard Goswick.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Goswick of Amarillo; grandchildren, Mandy Tate and husband Dustin, Mark Goswick and wife Krista; great grandchildren, Ashley, Shaley, Noah, Kinlee; brother, Travis Roden and wife Linda of Borger; nieces, Tammy Kemp and husband Joe, Tanya Lasiter and husband Cass; and great nieces, Jessica Hiberd and Tanley McDonald.
