Funeral Services for Charles Glenn Hughes, 88, of Seminole were held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Tony Pitcox officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.

Glenn passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Seminole.

He was born May 30, 1932 to Guy Tarleton and Grace Martin Hughes in Whitharral. He married Mary Ann Sokora, March 20, 1953 in Pep. Glenn owned and operated TexPac which later became the Beaver Express Company for over 25 years. During that time he also was a bus driver for Seminole ISD for over 30 years. He was also a farmer and rancher throughout his life. Glenn was an avid Texas Longhorn fan.

He is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Glenn is survived by his wife Mary Ann Hughes of Seminole; three sons, Brad and wife Chandra Hughes of Sonora, Guy and wife Brenda Hughes of Seminole, Kyle and wife Elke Hughes of Ballinger; four daughters, Glenna and husband Russell Romoser of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda and husband Gary Washington of Andrews, Janice and husband David Hinojosa of Liberty Hill, and Lori and husband Mike Riley of Huntsville and one sister Carol Beth Box of Lovington, New Mexico, along with 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers send memorials to God's Way Country Church, 1183 CR 255, Denver City, TX 79323.
