BORGER - Leta V. Simpson, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bunavista Baptist Church with David Langen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Garden of Devotion, by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Simpson was born in Skiatook, Okla., and moved to Borger 57 years ago. She taught art at Spring Creek Elementary and Sam Houston Junior High School. She was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.

She married Oliver Simpson in 1937 in Collinsville, Okla.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Lee Simpson of Amarillo; five daughters, Barbara Anglen, Wanda Hamlet and Debbie Northrup, all of Borger, Patricia Raper of Tulsa, Okla., and Carolyn Fisher of Round Mountain, Nev.; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
