Frances M Stewart
August 6, 1923 - August 15, 2016
Frances May Stewart was born August 6, 1923 to Frank and Delma Watson in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She attended Borger High School and was Valedictorian of her graduating class in 1941.
Frances married the love of her live, Medford Stewart in 1941. Frances worked for J. M. Huber Corporation 34 years as Personnel Assistant. She was a member of the Keeler Baptist Church. Frances served three times as Worthy Matron of Borger Chapter No. 811, Order of the Eastern Star; and was Mother Advisor of Rainbow for Girls. She was a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and Hutchinson County Genealogy Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years. She is survived by a son, Meryle Richard Stewart and his wife, Debbie of San Antonio, Texas and a daughter, Delma Ann Andress and her husband Donald of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Michele Rabinowitz, Rebecca Allsup, Jeff Andress, Kelsey Stewart, Richard Stewart, Susan Hutcheson, David Anderson, and Lauren Polchinski and 13 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Anna Ruth Garland of Sacramento, California.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Boys Ranch.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 20th at Keeler Baptist Church in Borger at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors.
