Margie M. Tate, 85, of Borger died Tuesday, March 18, 1997 in Spearman.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today at Westlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.

A native of Alba, she had been a Borger resident for 20 years.

She was a housewife and a member of The Assembly of God Church in Borger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.M. Tate, in May of 1963 and one son, Harold Tate, in December of 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Jones of Borger and Linda Long of Lubbock; one son, Earl Tate of Borger; 28 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
