TENNESSEE — Sue Bailey passed away January 21, 2010, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she resided for the past three years.
Born October 22, 1940, in Corpus Christi, Texas, a longtime native of Texas, Moma was a Christian woman, believing in God and Jesus Christ. She loved life, having fun and living in the fast lane.
Preceded in death by her husband Jack Ira Bailey, she is survived by her children, "The Fantastic Six" Jackie Darr "Cheyanne" and partner, David Samples, Ricky Darr and partner, Lisa Diamond; granddaughters Bonnie Rae Chaboudy, Shareal and John Nutter; great-grandsons Justin and Layne Nutter; daughters Frankie and James Freeman, Linda and Johnny Sims; sons Floyd Ray Bailey and Michael Cash; grandchildren Shylo Sims, John Freeman, Sara and Ben Bailey, Charlie, Jeremy and Melissa Ross; nine great-grandchildren; best friends Toni Meyers, Cindy Mayes and Bobbie Browning.
Visitation and viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday for those who wish to call at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas (409) 925-3501.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor John Newton officiating. Entombment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Casket bearers will be Jeremy Ross, Charlie Ross, John Freeman, Johnny (Shortcake) Sims, Justin Nutter and Paul Brown. Honorary bearer will be Layne Nutter.
