Obituary:
PERRYTON - Alvana Johnson, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairmont Cemetery with the Rev. William Griffin of Darrouzett officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Funeral Home in Perryton.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Shattuck, Okla. Before moving to Perryton, she had lived in Bristol, Conn., and San Antonio. She worked as a store clerk and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bristol.
She married Sid Johnson in 1936 at Perryton. He died in 1969.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Moll of Bristol; a son, Sidney Johnson of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Lutheran World Relief.
