ALGOA – Mrs. Katalin Valeria “Kato” Williams passed from this life Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joszef Sarkozy and Stefanie Fruhstuck; her husband of over 66 years, Earnie Williams; brother, George Fruhstuck.

Survivors include her daughters, Katharina “Kathie” Hahn and husband Steve of Algoa, Stefanie Baggs of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Melisa Davis and husband, Larry, Cristalyn Hahn, Earnie Baggs, Julia Wytovak and her companion, Jim Pugh; great-grandchildren, Brian Ayres and wife, Jessica, Kaysha Thomson, Jordan Johnson, Jayson Johnson, Jaidyn Davis, Dalton Wytovak, Savannah Pugh and Mason Pugh; brothers, Jozeph Fruhstuck of Canada, Franz Fruhstuck of Germany; sisters, Charlotte Heiner, Stefanie Bermester, both of Australia, Annie Hoffman and Lizzie Stoeble, both of Germany and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members throughout the world.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Pastor Andy Helgeson officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.

Visitation with the family will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the parlor of the funeral home.

EARNEST E. "EARNIE" WILLIAMS, of Algoa, Texas, passed from this life Wednesday evening, September 12, 2012, in Galveston.

Born February 11, 1928 in Ft. Worth, and raised in Galveston, Mr. Williams had been a resident of Algoa since 2011, previously of Santa Fe. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army, and worked at the Galveston Wharves for 35 years serving as both switchman and yardmaster. Earnie was a lifetime member of VFW Post 5400 and was a master chess and checkers player.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Rachel (Calhoun) Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Valeria "Kato" (Sarkozy) Williams; daughters, Katharina "Kathy" Hahn and husband, Steve, Stefanie Baggs; grandchildren, Melisa Davis (Larry), Cristalyn Hahn, Earnie Baggs, Julia Wytovak (Jim Pugh); great-grandchildren, Brian Ayres (Jessica), Kaysha Thomson, Jordan Johnson, Jayson Johnson, Jaidyn Davis, Dalton Wytovak, Savannah Pugh and Mason Pugh.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Mr. Mike Tipton officiating. Entombment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
