Services for Conda Starrett, 84, of the Kalgary community will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Ramsey, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after an apparent heart attack at his home.
He was born in Johnson County and moved to Crosby County in 1909. He married Mattie Lee Harden on Jan. 6, 1924, in Crosbyton. They moved from Crosbyton to the Kalgary community in 1944. He operated a post office and general store and was a farmer and rancher. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tookie Maze and Mury Ann Stanley, both of Crosbyton; two sisters, Lena Givens and Hallie Sullivan, both of Crosbyton and two grandchildren.
