Services for Mrs. Dodie Starrett, 91, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Pansy Baptist Church in Broadway Community.
Officiating were the Rev. D.G. Davidson and the Rev. Melvin Ratheal, both of Lubbock, and the Rev. R.L. Findley, pastor of Pansy Baptist Church.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Starrett, a resident of Crosby County since 1912, died at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday in a Lubbock hospital. She had been in ill health for several months and underwent surgery 12 days ago.
She lived in the Broadway Community, near Crosbyton, moving there from Cleburne with her husband, the late Henry R. Starrett.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence and Clyde, both of Crosbyton, a daughter, Mrs. Joe Lambert of Hobbs, NM; a brother, Charley Guinn of Cisco; a sister, Mrs. Ira Moseley of Clyle; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
