*Obituary
On March 21, 2015, our beloved mother, Barbara Camille Ames, lost her courageous batlle with cancer. Barbara lived a full life as a long time member of the Borger community acting as a census taker and a precinct election judge, whhile maintaining her biggest joy of raising six children. Barbara was a poet, an artist and at times, an outspoken professor of the English language.

Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, William B. Ames, two wonderful sons, Dennis Kelly and Patrick Henry and a daughter, Jacqueline Dianne. She is survived by her daughters, Mary C. Jelf, Magna, Utah, Polly Lambert and Barbara Anne Chavez of Borger and a son, william Michael Ames, Humble, Texas. She was "granny" to her eleven grand children and "GG" to her 18 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all those spirits that she has touched during her short 85 years on earth. God truly blessed all of us with her presence.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local Cancer Society to help some day rid us of this horrible disease.
