*Obituary
After a fortnight's illness, little Virginia Briggs, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Briggs, prominent Borgans, died last night at her parents home on 329 Deahl Street, from heart trouble, according to the attending physician.

Virginia, who was a popular member of the younger set, was in the sixth grade at the West Ward school. She also attended the Methodist Sunday school.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Methodist church, with the Rev. J.B. McReynolds officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.N. Hunt, pastor of the Baptist church.

Burial will be in Llano cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are in charge of the Carver-Powell funeral chapel.

Besides the parents survivors are two sisters, Mary Jo and Betty, and one brother, Jack.

Flower girls will be the following classmates and neighbors: Thelma Ruth Thomas, Jo Evelyn House, Marcella Bulger, Marilyn Campbell, Betty Jo Davidson, Patsy Roberts, Verna Adams, Dorothy Nell Weir, Martha Marie Smith, Betty Lou Hall, Sylvia Katah, and Gloria Anisman.
