Coy T. Burke, 78, 115 Cottonwood, died Sunday, December 31, 1989, in Westgate Nursing Home, Amarillo.
A retired welder for Phillips Transportation Department, he was a native of Hope, Ark. and a Borger resident for 53 years.
He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and a member of Isom Masonic Lodge 1242 P.M.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Alan Burke of Conroe; one daughter, Joyce Jean Higginbotham of Gulfport, Miss.; three brothers, S.P. Burke of Morton, M.R. Burke of Borger, J.W. Burke of Valley Center, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Gill of Magnolia, Ark.; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

Dorothy Burke passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 in Willis, Texas.
Viewing for Mrs. Burke will be on Friday, February 13th from Noon to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Directors in Borger.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.
