Final rites for Jake Wilson Carter, 119 Arline, were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at the Bible Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Charles McDowell, officiating.
Carter, a retired farmer, died Monday in North Plains Hospital. He was 66.
Survivors include the wife, Margaret Ann of the home; four sons, Dois [E]., Glen and J.W., both of Borger and Preston of Paducah, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Fonda May Jabe and Mrs. Wanda Bradford, both of Borger; three sisters, Mrs. M.M. Hupp, of Borger, Mrs. Louella Ratliff of Tolar, Texas, and Mrs. Opal Stephens of Sweetwater, Texas; one brother, Tom Carter of Hamlin, Texas; and 15 grandchildren.
Interment was in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Minton's Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Carter, 63, Borger resident 15 years, were held at 2 p.m. today in Bible Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Carl Baugh, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Carter died at 2 a.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital. She lived at 119 Arline.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Jobe of Stinnett, Mrs. Harvey Bradford of Borger; four sons, D.E., J.W. and C.G. of Borger, and Preston of Paducah; two sisters, Mrs. Barto Jameson of Rotan, Mrs. Charlie Scifer of Rule; six brothers, B.Branscum of Paducah, Dan and Sol Branscum of Hamlin, James Branscum of Snyder, Emory Branscum of Louise, Wilborn Branscum of Abilene; 15 grandchildren also survive.
Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Casketbearers were Stanley Turner, Stanley Davis, Orville Warren, Dean Garrett, Doug Johnson and Bruce Foss.
