*Obituary Elmo
BORGER - Funeral services for Elmo Clark, 61, a Borger resident who died Tuesday afternoon after he was struck by a pickup truck, were to be at 2 p.m. today in Johnson Park Church of Christ.

Wesley Mickey, minister, will officiate. Burial was to be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

Orvis Aelie Head, 39, of Spearman, charged with failure to stop and render aid in connection with the death, remained in jail here late Wednesday under a $5,000 body.

Clark, of 1219 Hazelwood, was standing behind the cement truck he drove for Redi-Mix Concrete Co. of Borger when he was hit by the pickup.

The accident occurred 4 miles north of the city of Texas 136. Clark died in North Plains Hospital.

A Borger resident for 20 years, he was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, a son, a daughter, his mother, two brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Seventeen-month-old Christy Pool, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Pool, 217 West Adams died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital. The infant had been treated since birth for a chemical imbalance.

Other than her parents she is survived by maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold T. Pearson, Oklahoma City, Okla., and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Clark, Borger.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday in the Johnson Park Church of Christ with Charles Whitmire, minister, officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetary [sic], under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
