Leon Q. Dickey, 73, of 1223 Lindsey St., died Wednesday.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Dickey was a native of Josephine, Texas. He had lived in Borger for 38 years. He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Company's Borger Refinery & NGL Center.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; a daughter, Mrs. Dawn Brittain of Borger; two brothers, Marlin Dickey of Dumas and W.T. Dickey of Tyler; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Green of Virginia; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

BORGER - Martha Elizabeth Dickey, 90, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008.

Services will be 11 a.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Willy Adams officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickey was born Dec. 14, 1917, to Archabald and Arminta Sanders McNulty in Knox City. She married Leon Dickey on Oct. 1, 1942, in Knox City.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Brittain of Borger; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
