Jim V. Fowler, of Borger, passed away, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Amarillo.

Jim was born September 8, 1942 in Borger, Texas to Vaden A. and Mildred E. (Crepps) Fowler. He was an operator for J.M.Huber. Jim attended Faith Covenant Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Luena Kay Fowler.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela and husband Matthew Polster of Borger; a twin sister, Neta Fowler of Borger; 2 grandchildren: Whitney and husband Kendall Neill of Borger and Todd Fleetwood of Pampa; a great grandchild, Kamden Neill of Pampa and a beloved niece, Kim and husband Kenny Burks of Fritch.

Mr. Fowler will lie in state Friday, August 26 from 8:00 am- 5:00pm and Sunday, August 28 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Browns Chapel of the Fountains, Borger. The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Browns Chapel of the Fountains.

Services will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at Faith Covenant Church, Borger. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association 1349 Empire Central Dr. Suite #280 Dallas, TX 75247.

Funeral services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger
