Vaden Allen Fowler, 79, Borger died Wednesday, July 8, 1990 in his home.
Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Kibby, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 64 years. He was a retired District Supervisor with J.M. Huber Oil and Gas Division.
He was a member of First Christian Church and Lake Meredith Gun Club, former Boy and Girl Scouts Directors and Lost Cord Club of Amarillo.
He married Mildred Crepps April 7, 1940 at Durango, Colo.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son Jim Fowler of amarillo [sic]; one daughter, Neta Fowler of Amarillo; one sister, Sylvia Gorley of Bosque Farms, N.M.; one granddaughter, Pam Fowler of Borger.

BORGER - Mildred E. Fowler, 85, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in Canyon.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Gran, minister of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Independence, Kan., and was a longtime resident of Borger. She was a homemaker and had worked as executive director of the Girl Scouts of America and as a volunteer. She was a member of First Christian Church in Borger.
Her husband, Vaden Fowler, died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Neta Fowler of Canyon; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 26460, Austin, TX 78755-0460; or Girl Scouts of America, Texas Plains Council, 6011 W. 45th, Amarillo, TX 79109.
