Funeral services for Terry Noel Gariepy will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jeff Moore, officiating.

The 27-year-old Borgan was killed Thursday in an oil well explosion 10 miles northeast of Spearman.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at Sanford Hospital in Perryton shortly after the 11 a.m. accident.

Gariepy was employed by Daco Lease and Well Service Company of Spearman. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are the widow, Shirley, two daughters, RaVonda and Sonya, one son, Ronnie, all of the home, 1009 Thrams; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gariepy of Borger; six sisters, Mrs. June Casey, Mrs. Juanita Phares, Mrs. Thelma Dodson, all of Borger, Mrs. Maxine Tedder of Okema, Okla., Mrs. Gladys Roberts of Plattsville, N.Y., and Mrs. Opal Andrews of Perryton; two brothers, Kenneth of Borger and Leo of Liberal, Kan.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Bob Harper, James Blackwell, Leonard Wright, Charles Holland, Robert Williams and Clifford Pitts. Employees of the Daco company will be honorary casketbearers.
