Ralls (Special)--Services for Jo Chance, 67, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark Williams, pastor of Floydada [TX] First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Monday, July 1, 1996, in Lubbock's St. Mary's Hospital. She was born May 10, 1929, in Ralls. She married Raymond Chance on Feb. 8, 1946, in Post. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and she was a 30-year member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 2466. She was a former Boy Scout den mother.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gerald of Irving [TX] and Kenny of Floydada [TX]; a brother, E. L. Melton of Plainview [TX]; three sisters, Dude Waller of Lubbock, Sally Houchin of Petersburg, and Elwanna McHam of Levelland; two grandchildren; and a great grandson.
