Robert Malone
December 24, 1943 - June 7, 2015
Robert "Bob" Malone passed away Sunday June 7, 2015 in Amarillo.
Mr. Malone was born December 24, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa to Walter James "Pat" and Addiebelle (Booth) Malone. Bob married Johnnie Fennell in 1967 in Borger.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a facilitator at J.M. Huber Carbon Black Plant, was a member of the VFW and the American Legion, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Borger.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Johnnie who passed in 2009, a sister Linda Sue Dodd and a great granddaughter Lilah Jean Anderson.
He is survived by a daughter Shannon Lee and husband John Andracki of Lake Charles, Louisiana; a son Mark and wife Debbie Malone of Borger; 3 brothers: Walter and wife Georgia Malone of Schertz, Texas, William and wife Barbara Malone of Lubbock, Texas, and Mike and wife Sarah Malone of Friendswood, Texas; 2 sisters: Patricia and husband Ron Stiehler of Norman, Oklahoma and Mary Lou and Frank Bassett of Creede, Colorado; 3 grandchildren: Dustin and wife Michaela Anderson, Jared Anderson and fiance Brittany, Braden Malone all of Borger and one great granddaughter.
Mr. Malone will lie in state Tuesday June 9 and Wednesday June 10 from 8AM-8PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains.
Services will be held Thursday June 11, 2015 at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Borger. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to BSA Hospice or Wounded Warriors Project.

BORGER - Johnnie Lee Malone, 65, died Thursday, July 23, 2009.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Mark McGaughey officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Malone was born March 3, 1944, to John and Alma Fennell in Hugo, Okla. She married Bob Malone in 1967 in Borger.
Survivors include her husband; a son Mark Malon of Borger; a daughter Shannon Andracki of Lake Charles; three sisters: Billie Reyna, Barbara Francis Jackson and Deanie O'Neal, all of Borger; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
