Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest R. Phares, 29 years old, of the Huber Carbon Camp, who died late Friday night in a local hospital following a 10 days illness, will be held today at 5 p.m. at the Carver Funeral Chapel.

A resident of Borger since 1927, Mrs. Phares was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. J.A. Thomas, pastor of the Assembly of God Church and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Besides her husband she is survived by four children, Tommie Dale Tucker, Mary Maxine Tucker, Betty June Phares, Peggy Sue Phares, and three brothers, Guy B. Johnson in the U.S. Army, Troy B. Johnson of Borger, Emmett Johnson of Selman City, and one sister, Mrs. J.M. Brown of Borger.

Serving as active pallbearers will be O.I. Eagan, J.D. Anderson, J.C. Shaddot, C.P. Wilson, H. Warren, and Elzie Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Sanders, Le Roy Mack, Pat Blankenship and Loyce Haines.
