Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Takewell, 59, of 1000 Penn Ave., in Borger, who died at 9 p.m. Friday in Amarillo, are planned for 11 a.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Robert E. Presnall officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Takewell had lived in Borger since 1929 and was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was active in Girl Scouts and the Golf Association.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; two daughters, Sharon Purvis of Boulder, Colo, and Diane Baruffi, Bellevue, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Baker, Dr. M.M. Stephens, Bob Johnson, Al Hahn, Joe Rives, and Claude Balir [sic].

Minton Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
