In 1895, Miss Plaster became the wife of George Washington Adams in Grimes County, Texas. From this union, they had two children:

- Kathileen Margaret Adams (went by Margaret)
Mrs. Adams died on January 21, 1949 at the age of 70 at Bedias, Grimes County, Texas. Ida, her husband and both of her children are buried at the Plaster Family Cemetery in Bedias.
