Clarissa Clementine Plaster was born on May 15, 1877 to Henry Franklin Plaster (1842-1905) and Margaret Susan Midkiff (1848-1926) in Bedias, Grimes County, Texas.
Clarissa is the sister of Pinkney Porter Plaster,
Dollie D. Plaster, Joseph Jefferson Plaster, Sarah S. Plaster, Mary Magdaline Plaster Ross, Val "Ida" Verde Plaster Adams, Emma Eugene Plaster Howell,
Charles C. Plaster, Ocy Otto Plaster Corner, Fannie F. Plaster, Henry Hannibal Plaster and Monroe Martin Plaster
Miss Plaster married Minor Thaddius Ross (1871-1942) in 1905 at Madison County, Texas. They are the parents of J. T. H. F. P. Griffith (1896–1898), Aurelia Ardna Ross Honea (1918–1984), Susan E. Ross Robinson (1924–2018) and Ike Rasco Ross (1906-1977). Clarissa was Minor's second wife; He had 4 children with Mary Magdaline Plaster (his first wife); William M. Ross, Oscar Gates Ross, Jesse M. Ross and Clarence Shack Ross.
Mrs. Ross died on February 27, 1963 at the age of 75 in Brazoria, Brazoria County, Texas. She is buried at the Plaster Family Cemetery in Bedias, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death by 21 years and is buried at Bedias Baptist Cemetery.
