Funeral arrangements for William Thomas Welch, 87, are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Welch, a resident of the Borger area since 1928, died Sunday afternoon at the North Plains Hospital.

A retired employee of the Columbia Carbon Co., he had been living at the Magic Plains Nursing Home. He was a member of the First Christian Church and Isom Masonic Lodge 1242. He was born at Morgan.

Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Leona Zollars of Borger; three sons, Claude of Dallas, Frank of Alvin and Jimmy of Austin; a sister, Mrs. Frank Hurt of Brady, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
