Funeral services for Jake Neufeld, age 69 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating and Pastor Johnny Dyck assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Neufeld was born in Mexico on April 2, 1954 to Aganetha (Banman) and David Neufeld. He married Margaret Neufeld on August 12, 1973 in Mexico. He was a member of Community Church and worked as a mechanic. Jake could fix anything and was very gifted with his hands; he also enjoyed hunting. He was a positive man, with a servant heart and a strong Christian faith. He never met a stranger and couldn't say no to anyone.

Jake Neufeld passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, surrounded by his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Neufeld in 2021; three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by one son, Johnny Neufeld and wife Hilda of Gunter, Texas; five daughters, Nettie Krahn and husband Cornelius, and Sara Giesbrecht and husband Artie, both of Seminole, Helena Neufeld of Clarksville, Tennessee, Anna Gomez and husband Johnny of Seagraves, Texas, and Mary Haralson and husband Steve of Brownfield, Texas; one sister, Anna Wiebe of Mexico; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Margaret Neufeld, age 68 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial will follow at the Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Margaret was born January 18, 1953 in Mexico to Helena (Giesbrecht) and Juan Loeppky. Margaret was a very social person who loved people. She was known as a great caregiver and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting, gardening, woodworking, and being outside; she also loved baking.

Margaret Neufeld passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Jake Neufeld of Seminole, Texas; one son, Johnny Neufeld and wife Hilda of Gunter, Texas; five daughters, Nettie Krahn and husband Cornelius, Anna Harder, Sara Giesbrecht and husband Artie, all of Seminole, Texas, Helena Neufeld of Clarksville, Tennessee, Mary Haralson and husband Steve of Brownfield, Texas; two brothers, John Loeppky of Bolivia and Jake Loeppky of Canada; one sister, Sara Neufeld of Canada; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
