*Obituary Cleo
Cleo C. Gaines, 82, died Saturday, March 15, 1986.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church. The Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa and the Rev. Jerry Parker, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Gaines, a Wheeler resident since 1929, was married to Louise Richards in 1930 at Erick, Okla. She died in 1985. He was a farmer until his retirement in 1972. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Richard of Wheeler and James of Amarillo; a daughter, Sue Perkins of Sunray; a brother, William of Pampa; four sisters Iona May of Wheeler, Althia Gaines and Darlene Hampton, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Gary Brotherton, Darrell Gaines, David Gaines, Donald Gaines, Kent Gaines, Larry Hampton, Steve Hampton, Mike Perkins.
