Funeral services for Jacob Guenther, age 76 of Seminole, Texas will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at New Creation Praise Center with Pastor John Penner officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Guenther was born in Mexico on May 18, 1945 to Anna (Fehr) and Klaas Guenther. He was a member of New Creation Praise Center and worked as a farmer. He married Tina Hiebert in Mexico on August 31, 1969. Jacob was a man of great integrity. He enjoyed designing and engineering machinery, farming, raising cattle and horses. Jacob loved being with his family.

Jacob Guenther passed away at his home in Seminole on December 31, 2021. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters. He is survived by his wife Tina Guenther of Seminole; three sons, John Guenther, Peter Guenther, and Stan Guenther, all of Seminole; two brothers, Isaac Guenther and Peter Guenther, both of Mexico; one sister, Aganetha Neufeld of Mexico, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services for Tina Hiebert Guenther,age 71 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at New Creation Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Penner officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guenther was born March 15, 1951 in Mexico to Katherina (Bueckert) and Jacob Hiebert. She married Jacob Guenther in Mexico on August 31, 1969. She was a member of New Creation Church in Seminole, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a prayer warrior and always wanted to be used by God and go to heaven. Tina had a great sense of humor and never knew a stranger; anyone who knew her called her "Mama Tina." She was also a straightforward person who would tell you how it was. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Tina Guenther passed away at her home in Seminole on Sunday, December 25, 2022. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Guenther in 2021, one brother, two half-brothers, and one half-sister. She is survived by three sons, John Guenther and wife Anna, Peter Guenther and wife Mary, and Stan Guenther and wife Yolanda, all of Seminole; five sisters, Elisabeth Banman and husband Peter of Mexico, Justina Banman of Canada, Maria Loewen and husband John of Canada, Anna Letkeman of Paris, Texas, and Helen Wiebe and husband Peter of Seminole; two half-sisters, Margie Hiebert of Honey Grove, Texas, and Jackie Thiessen of Seminole; and nine grandchildren.
