Mrs. Lila Cleo Anderson died in Amarillo, Texas Saturday, Feb. 15 at the age of 49. Mrs. Anderson was the wife of Albert Anderson who is employed at the Britt Ranch. Mrs. Anderson was born at Alanreed, Texas February 13, 1909.

She has resided in this community for 31 years is a member of the Baptist Church at Kelton, where the funeral services were held Monday Feb. 17 at 3:30 with Rev. A.G. Roberts assisted by the pastor Rev. LeRoy Harris officiating. Mrs. Anderson had been in bad health for the past 4 years.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Anderson of Wheeler, Texas; three children, Mrs. Velda Miller of Borger, Texas; Mrs. Joyce Lynch of Amarillo, Texas and Glenda Anderson of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Chatham of Salamia, California, Mrs. Lola Sullivan, Salamia, California, and Mrs. Lauel Henderson, Salamia, California; two brothers, Oscar Anderson and Carol Anderson, both of Salamia, California. One daughter, two sons and three brothers preceded her in death.

Pall bearers fof [sic] the funeral were Troy Miller, Buddy Errington, Raymond Burks, Olen Smith, Clayton Callan and David Britt.

Interment was made in the Kelton Cemetery under the direction of the Kirk Funeral Home of Wheeler.
