June 24, 1920 - March 13, 2014

Bonnie Anderson was born June 24, 1920 in Wheeler County, Texas to Gracie A. and Ernest A. McRae. She passed away March 13, 2014 at Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years, 8 months and 19 days.

Bonnie grew on the Oklahoma/Texas state line. She attended school in Allison, TX and also Meridian, OK. Bonnie, at a young age, placed her faith in and trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She worked on the family farm and also obtained employment at Peach's Variety Store. Bonnie was married to Albert Anderson at Sayre, Oklahoma on August 1, 1958. After their marriage they made their home on the Britt Ranch and started their family there. Bonnie was a great example of unselfishness. She sacrificed her time and money, not only for her own family but for others in the community as well. Bonnie was always active and enjoyed cleaning, sewing and taking care of her family.

She was a member of Sayre Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by her daughter, LaTrricia Shirley and husband Michael, Choctaw, OK; 3 step daughters, Velda Miller and husband, Dudley, Wheeler, TX; Joyce Lynch, San Antonio, TX, and Glenda Groves, Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren, Kendra Shirley, and Aaron Shirley, both of Choctaw, OK; 1 sister, Bettye Sanders, Sayre, OK and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Rose Chapel officiated by Michael Shirley. Burial will be held at Kelton Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
